BENKY CLIMBING got commissioned for the design and planning of a small bouldering gym in Finnland which is owend and operated by some real bouldering enthusiasts. It was a pleasure to work with the guys on the design.
Antti Väisänen and Natalia Kiuru gym owners of Väki – came up with the idea to visualize the ridgeline from the area of Salla – Lapland to the bouldering wall. Benky Climbing took up the challange to integrate it into a sleek Scandinavian design.
In close communication with Antti and his team we came up with a design which suited the requirement of the local boulder-community as well as was fitting into the limited space of the already existing venue.
